‘Since I had my stem cell procedure at Barts Hospital in the city of London I’ve just got fitter and stronger.

Prior to being treated, I was unable to work. I now have a great job, working with some really good people who are such a friendly bunch.

Some of them and there friends and family members do a lot of walking and hill walking. They are going to embark on the National 24hr 3 peaks challenge.

They want to complete the walking challenge to help the Heart Cells Foundation raise money and awareness for the amazing work they do.

My story has spurred them on and given this amazing group of people another reason to complete the walk.

They have asked me to drive the minibus for them during the challenge to take them to each peak! I’m chuffed to do this for them, it’s amazing that I work with them it’s even more amazing that I can drive them for the 24hr challenge it’s just bonkers from my point of view that I’m actually alive to be with these guys.

We are actually doing this challenge for you because you don’t know when you or your family and friends may need this treatment. So please help us to help them get it on the NHS so it’s available for all that need it.

Thank you
Barry
