Philippa Bradley
Words from husband Michael and Daughters Emma and Lucy
Philippa was a devoted mother and loyal loving wife but above all her friends and family would agree… a force to be reckoned with! Her impeccable style, relentless energy, and passion, for everything she accomplished, shone through.
She lived a fast-paced life, always saying ‘yes’ to getting involved with projects and supporting good causes, alongside running her business, extensive travelling and social engagements.
For over 40 years she was a leading doyenne of the lingerie industry – everyone knew Philippa. Her Mayfair showroom welcomed buyers from Selfridges and Harrods to one man band shop owners and swathes of friends alike. She propelled many brands into the UK market and loved to nurture young talent.
Home was her sanctuary and showpiece for her exquisite taste. It was a canvas for her and Michael’s eclectic modern art and ceramics collection and filled to the brim with Avant Garde pieces.
Philippa made such an impact on all she met and had an infectious energy. She was so proud to be a part of the Heart Cells Foundation journey and its life changing achievements. When her illness struck it was brutally fast, but she faced it with true courage, dignity and not a complaint – she knew, like all of us, what a full life she lived.
