Support Josh Spalding – London Marathon for Heart Cells Foundation

Josh is taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2026 to support the Heart Cells Foundation as he wished to give back to the charity as thanks for funding the stem cell treatment that transformed his stepdad’s life — and to help more families access this groundbreaking therapy.

In Josh’s Own Words

This cause is deeply personal to me, my stepdad recently received life changing stem cell treatment funded by your charity at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and I can see the extraordinary difference your work makes. His recovery and renewed quality of life is already evident and a testament to the hope that Heart Cells Foundation brings to families like ours. Running the London Marathon in support of your mission would be my way of giving something back, to say thank you, to raise awareness and to help others access the same incredible treatment.

Cheers
Josh
