London, 13 September 2025 – The Heart Cells Foundation is proud to announce that Barry Newman has been honoured with the BBC Make a Difference Award for his exceptional commitment to charitable fundraising and his tireless work supporting the Foundation’s pioneering efforts in regenerative heart therapy.
Barry has been a driving force behind numerous fundraising initiatives, significantly contributing to the Foundation’s mission to bring stem cell therapy to patients suffering from heart failure. His passion, perseverance, and personal dedication have not only raised vital funds but have also helped increase awareness of the life-changing work being done by the Heart Cells Foundation.
